Lauren Kendrick was born in 1986 to Leland and Terry Fletcher and has been a life-long resident of Chandler, Tx. She graduated from Brownsboro High School in 2004 and later attended UT Tyler, receiving her Bachelor’s of Music Education & Performance in 2009.
Since graduating from college, Lauren has taught band and choir in the Lindale Independent School District from 2012-2017 and served as the Worship/Youth Director at Faith Baptist Church in Chandler from 2010-2023. During this time, she met and married her husband, Daniel Kendrick, in 2015, and together they welcomed their first child, Ethan Lane, in 2023.
Lauren has a wide range of interests, including music, songwriting, animals, and hiking. She loves travelling and exploring new cities, countries and cultures and hopes to one day visit all 7 continents. More than anything however, Lauren has a strong love for the Lord and a desire to grow daily in her faith.
Lauren has also always had an interest in all things government-related, both on a local and national level. This is what first led her to run for City Council in 2022. Lauren has a strong desire to serve the citizens of Chandler with honesty and integrity while giving back to the community she calls home.
