Winchester Fishing Pond
NO SWIMMING OR BOATING ALLOWED
Pond is stocked by Texas Parks and Wildlife and follows State rules for public waters.
- Fishing is by pole and line only. Anglers may use up to two poles while fishing.
- Youth under the age of 17 do not need a fishing license, all others require a State fishing license.
- No fish cleaning at the park.
- Please follow these State limits:
Catfish
For channel and blue catfish, there is no minimum length and combined daily bag limit = 5. For flathead catfish, minimum length = 18 inches and daily bag = 5.
Sunfish
There is no minimum length or daily bag limit on bluegill, red ear, warmouth or other species of sunfish.
