Be a resident of the City of Chandler and have resided in the City for at least one year immediately preceding the date of the election5. Not be otherwise disqualified from serving on the City Council by any other provision of law.
You must submit an application with the City Secretary to run for City Council.

First you must determine if you reside in Henderson County. Henderson County residents may contact Paula Ludtke at (903)675-6149 for information on when and how to register to vote. Many questions can be answered through their website and you can also print off a Texas Voter Registration Application.
There are two ways to vote early. You can vote in person or by mail. Check with the Henderson County Voter Registrars office or City Hall for early voting dates..
