Overview
There are currently three parks in Chandler.
McCain Park
McCain Park is located at the western entrance to Chandler on Highway 31. Built in 2005 with proceeds from an award won by Keep Chandler Beautiful, McCain Park is beautifully landscaped and contains:
- Chandler Museum & Visitor Center
- Lighted concrete walking paths and benches
- Flag pole
- Gazebo
- Paved parking lot

McCain Park Gazebo
The gazebo at McCain Park is a popular location for weddings. Contact City Hall at (903)849-6853 for information on how to reserve the gazebo.
Chandler Museum & Visitor Center at McCain Park
The newly restored Chandler Museum & Visitor Center is also located in McCain Park. Call (903)849-2243 for more information.
River Park
River Park is located at the eastern entrance to Chandler on Highway 31 at the Neches River. Located on the banks of the Neches River, the park provides:
- Boat ramp for fishermen
- Paved parking
- Nature walk
- Picnic areas
- Parking lot
- Portable toilets
- A concrete lighted walking trail around the park with exercise stops
- Paved parking
- Concession stands and restrooms
- Five lighted baseball and softball fields
- Flag pole

- Nine lane horseshoe court
- Two acre catch & release fishing pond

Winchester Fishing Pond
Winchester Fishing Pond is stocked with channel catfish, largemouth bass, bream and rainbow trout. Fishing is by pole and line only. Anglers may use up to two poles while fishing. Youth under the age of 17 do not need a fishing license. All others require a Texas fishing license. Enjoy the fishing!
Winchester Horseshoe Courts
The Horseshoe Court at Winchester Park is a tournament level complex. There are nine horseshoe lanes in this lighted, fenced court. At this time, three annual horseshoe tournaments are held at Winchester Park. They include the "Chandler Challenge", the "Chandler Classic", and the "Heart of Chandler" horseshoe tournaments. Horseshoe enthusiasts of all ages are encouraged to use this facility.
Winchester Park Grand Pavilion
The 5,800 sq. ft. multi-purpose, covered Grand Pavilion is available for private use to all residents and non-residents of the city. Call City Hall at (903 )849-6853 for more information.
